Good job, Chuck. I can outdo you, though. I woke up the other morning and
it was below 30 degrees. I made it back under the covers in less than five
seconds! :>)
Keep up the good work!

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in
a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside,
thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming ---
Wow! What a ride!!!!!

Subject: [cancer_survivors_gathering_place] Race Today

Today I surprised myself. I ran a 5K (3.1 mile) race in the cold and
icy conditions. I completed the run with a 200 meter sprint passing a
threesome who had been 10 meters in front of me for 10 minutes. My
time came to less than 9 minutes per mile. That is great because I
haven't been doing a lot of training over the past two months and the
conditions were not ideal.
Shalom,
Chuck
