Friends,
I'm sorry to say that I was spoofing you on April 1st.
I did run outdoors for the first time this year. I did not break the
world record for 5 miles by running 5 consecutive miles in less than 4
minutes each. I did run 3.5 miles in 33 1/2 minutes. I do feel really
good about that even though I think I pulled a muscle in my hip. It is
really sore, but I ran again yesterday anyway.
Today we have snow again. Jackie says I have to stay in the house lest
the snow bury me.
Tomorrow I'll probably run again. I wish it wasn't a rule for amateur
runners to avoid painkillers before a run to mask pain. The pro's do
it all the time because it is their life's work and their career is
really going to be very short. I won't complain if I have a very long
running career.
Shalom,
Chuck
