One of my neighbors has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. He had
surgery last week. He and his wife are in their 80's. Of course, he
isn't thinking clearly, but he doesn't seem to have any impairment
after the surgery. His wife is greatly disturbed and confused.

He is also a veteran. Jackie and I are helping them with
transportation, scheduling appointments, getting prescriptions,
financial aid, and most important emotional support. We are sure it
will be a trying time for us, but the rewards will be worth it if we
only help a little bit.
