The Clearwater comes in from the east and joins the Snake River to continue (as the Snake) west. The Snake originates south of here and comes up by us. Clarkston is bounded on the east by the Snake, Lewiston is bounded on the north by the Clearwater and on the west by the Snake. But the two cities (in two different states) function as one community. We buy our groceries in Clarkston because Washington does not tax food items from the store, while Idaho does. So, while I'd rather shop at Lewiston's Safeway, it's more economical to use Clarkston's Alpha Beta! Crazyplace!
Thanks for putting Kimberlee in your prayers. As near as I can tell from her emails, she is nearing end-stage...and is fighting with all she has.

Marla,
Kimberlee Caladonia is now in our thoughts and prayers.
Mapquest shows the river through Clarkston as having one name on the
West half and another on the East half. Is that for real?
We hope you are doing a good job of greenskeeping at the Lewiston CC.
Shalom,
Chuck
