Just got an email from our friend and founder of this website Jim
McCulloch sharing the sad news of his dear wife, Judy's passing. She
will be missed. Both she and Jim brought light out of the darkness
that their battle with cancer had taught them. Long before the
internet had taken shape with its far reaching opportunities of
communication that were only a dream a few years before, Jim sent an
email, entitled "Special Day" that helped challenge and encourage
anyone who read it and by so doing gave a hand up to those of us who
were battling the monster cancer ourselves. I came to know heroes and
heroines that inspired and challenged the journey toward healing with
education, friendship and support that was unequaled. I just wanted to
say thank you Judy. . . thank you Jim, for your gift of light, for
helping me find my way out of the darkness of fear and the unknown.
Thank you for bringing these heroes and heroines into my life that I
now call friends. Please know we are all here for you. With love and
