I know that a while back I aked all of you for your prayers and
thoughts while I went through a bunch of tests to see if the pain in
my back was a recurrence of the breast cancer that was supposed to
take me out 14 years ago, and I don't remember if I ever posted the
results of those tests. If I did, stop reading now and don't be bored
by it again. And thank you for all you did for me.

For those who may not know, the spots that showed up in my spine in
the nuclear bone scan were determined, finally after an MRI, to be
tiny blood spots. Apparently some small blood vessels ruptured (don't
know why) and that's what we saw. And the intense pain I was having
is caused by arthritis....which for me is extremely aggravated by
cold, damp weather. We never have that kind of weather here in San
Diego, except for this year.

So thanks for your prayers, your notes and good thoughts. The cancer
is still in remission and we celebrated that. Now, if I can just come
to terms with the arthritis in ways that doesn't include the
controlled substances they're prescribing for me.
