WAY TO GO. .. Chuck. I celebrate these life giving anniversaries with you. Just this week I received a holiday card from our dear Marla .. . showing her and her dear hubby, Dan, white water rafting. . . living life to the fullest. In a note I received from her commenting on her picture. . she told me "the rest of the story". After the picture was snapped, she says "I went into the water, at the top of the rapid, flew down it and under the raft and back three times before things settled down enough to get me back out of the river. It scared Dan so badly when he couldn't see me that he says he'll never do that again! Wimp! :>)" - her words.
It is a joy to call you and Marla friends. . . and the inspiration you share to all of us survivors. . . is life giving.
Thanks. . . again and again . .
Evie
PS Almost fourteen years ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer. . around the same time as Marla. . . I signed on to the survivors website. . . after "meeting" all of you, my life changed FOREVER!!! THANK YOU THANK YOU!

December 7 is a very important date for me.
It is the day my mother decided to get pregnant again and led to my birth.
It is the day 9 years ago that I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer.
It is the day 2 years ago that I had surgery to remove my cancerous
esophagus.
It is the day today that I celebrate my survival.
Shalom,
Chuck
