That would be quite a run to San Diego. Jackie & I would like to
return to San Diego some day. We visited in 1974 for a few days if my
memory is correct. Our visit was shortened by gas rationing at the end
of January. We had to stay in LA for 3 extra days until February 1
before we could buy gas for the drive.

I have been hampered by this and that all year. I get started running
and something comes up and I take a few weeks to heal. Then I go again
until the next wheel comes loose. I still have a goal of running a 5
mile race in 39 minutes. I just have to keep postponing the date. With
any luck I will still be trying when I'm 90.

Thanks for the posts guys. I don't hear from you often. I don't hear
from one of my brothers for years, but I still love him.
