Don't know if you've seen the wonderful breast cancer storyline in
the Comic strip "Funky Winkerbean" over the last two years (the one
where the young character Lisa discovers she has breast cancer) in
your local newspaper, but I just found out that it has been turned
into a new book called "Lisa's Story." The book has the entire comic
strip breast cancer storyline plus touching quotes from survivors,
doctors and other people who wrote to the cartoonist to tell him how
much the series meant to them. It also contains a great breast cancer
resource directory from the National Alliance of Breast Cancer
Organizations. I saw it in a bookstore, but you can buy it online
