As some of you may recall, I have had NHL for 5 years and never wanted the
conventional treatment. After my tumors (throughout my body) kept
increasing in size and spreading, and started affecting my bowel, my
oncologist convinced me it was time for treatment.
I had a 6-7" tumor in my stomach that I could feel very easily. After the
first treatment of CHOP and another treatment of Rituximab (Rituxan), I
could no longer feel that large tumor and couldn't feel some my enlarged
lymph nodes in my neck that I always had.
After another set of treatments (Chop and Rituxan), I had a cat scan. The
technician couldn't believe his eyes and was saying to himself that this
couldn't be the same body he had just x-rayed a month ago. I am not cancer
free yet but certainly am well on my way with practically no side affects.
I get nice get well cards and feel guilty that I am not sick. I have
shocked my friends and neighbors with my energy.
I know a lot of you don't believe in chemo and I didn't either but my
results speak for themselves.
