I am very happy to be over the cancer stage (without any chemo or surgery) as you might imagine! :) I feel terrific now too which is a wonderful blessing.

I am including a copy of several educational documents in reference to the 10-Day pH Miracle Cleanse coming up on Tuesday, July 12^th and being Kicked Off this evening (see number and times listed below).  This will be my 2nd cleanse. The 10-Day FREE Supported Cleanse is offered every 3 months. My first one was in April when I was new to the program. It made a huge difference (as you can see!)

I think you will find the “How & Why the Cleanse Heals” attached document - written by Dr. Young - very interesting. It goes into the history of why the cleanse was begun and just exactly how it affects the body on a cellular level - and why it works so well.  It is actually better referred to as a Feast!  A weak body can finally get the nourishment it couldn't get access to before.

I know through my raw food studies at the Creative Health Institute that Anne Wigmore also instigated the idea of having a liquified or pureed day once a week to allow the body to heal faster so this concept isn’t completely new.  However Robert Young (and Shelley) have expanded upon just what are the best things to include and some great recipes. Plus he developed the SuperGreens drink which is like getting super energized green juice (250 mhz including wheatgrass) in a convenient form.

Actually my favorite recipes for the cleanse are found in Dr. Young's newest book - The pH Miracle for (Healthy) Weight Loss.  100% raw is best, however some of the recipes include items that are lightly steamed or warmed to account for people who prefer some warmed foods.  The main emphasis is plenty of alkaline foods and lots of alkaline hydration - 1 liter per every 30 lbs. is ideal (and some people have to work up to that).
