Hi  All,

When the web page was first written, I sincerely believe that PCa in my
case was a thing of the past.  I still believe that the main reason I
am alive today is the use of FO/CC.

As I have written many times, my wife has prayed that I would get well.
I would like to get completely well but I am more interested in
learning things that need to be known.

I have read for a long time of the value of fighting PCa with ellagic
acid.  Research institutions have had real success with this approach.
One of the best friends I have in Cyberspace is a man who is very
knowledgable in things connected with PCa and who writes for a PCa
publication.  I rely a lot on his council, at the same time realizing
that I am responsible for what I do in the light of all the things I
know.

He asked me if I had tried Lycopene.  I had a little but not much.  He
mentioned that if it works it works immediately but it took a lot .  It
would need 3  12 oz. glasses of tomato juice a day.  I did it.  I also
increased the level of red raspberry seed powder to 8 a day.  This was
sometime back; I do notremember the exact date.

My last 5 PSAs are as follows:

Jan 8, 2004         6.2       Testosterone under 50.

April 14, 2004    10,8      Now 3 month intervals.  Uro felt that to do

it more often was an abuse of the system.

July 7,2004         23.2      Had been using 3-4 Tbsp. FO/CC a day.
went to 5.

Oct 6, 2004         24.9      stabelized.  No problem.  Doctor pleased.

Jan 6, 2005         49.5      Real problem somewhere.  Shock--big time!

Got over shock, now analyzing possible problems.

A month or so back, some discussion arose on the Flax Oil list
concerning how the FO worked and the fact that Dr. Budwig did not use
antioxicants.  That was new to me.  I thought about it and found out
that ellagic acid and Lycopene are both powerful antioxidants.  I had
been using ellagic acid all along and went to the tomato juice sometime
before Oct. 6; I do not remember just when.  I didn't think to keep a
log of just what happened.  I get too busy and it didn't seem
significant.

I now believe, and the doctor tends to agree, [This doctor is an
excellent Oncologist who knows about FO/CC, has seen it work well for
long periods of time and is very supportive]  that since before the
October 6 PSA test I have very likely been using enough Antioxicants to
make the FO of limited value.  Perhaps I have learned something after
all.  This is a complicated business.  I learned this on the list
discussions.

Had the doctor felt it was an emergency I would have gone to a Lupron
shot to see if I am refactory and if so, get a fresh beginning.

He did not feel that way.  The antioxicants are now out of the picture.
On Jan 7 I added 2800 units a day pf cholecalciferol after hearing from
Dr. Vieth, who is doing research in Toronto, who assured me there would
be n problem with side effects.  This approach seems to be having good
success with men who are very advanced and otherwise hopeless.  There
is no reason it will not be helpful with any PCa.  I have posted this
recently but would again if there should be any questions.

I have learned today that WalMart has this material apparently cheaper
than other places.

Stress may also have been a factor in the last PSA.

I will have another PSA the third week of February and we will assess
the situation further.  I feel that things will be OK.

I will remind those who follow my situation further that this is at list
an aggressive situation and maybe very aggessive by this time.  I will
keep the Budwig approach the basic process.  I do not plan on going in
any other direction.

I am stubborn.  I am committed to this approach.

Cliff
