The colon is the body's sewer system   Message List

John Wayne's (the former actor) colon weighed over 60 pounds. The
average healthy colon weighs 11 to 17 pounds, need I say that Mr.
Wayne died with any heath problems. The famous Harvey W. Kellogg
M.D. of Battle Creek, MI once said: "Of the 22,000 operations I
personally performed I never found a single normal colon and of the
100,000 performed under my jurisdiction not over 6% were normal."

In the past the topic of bowel movement was not considered as avenue
the discussion. We don't mind discussing other health issues; like
high blood pressure, headaches, sugar problems and even obesity just
to name a few. But to bring a discussion about your bowel movements,
you just don't want to go there! Fact of the matter most health
problems you face today begin in the colon.

Self indulgence and an unhealthy lifestyle has caused a multitude of
degenerative diseases. A lack of fiber, processed foods and fast
foods and 'junk food' has depleted the quality of our health to a
near critical point. New diseases are popping up, cancer is still on
the rise despite the never ending research. Why? Researchers are
finally coming to the realization that toxins that are generated in
the colon is literally poisoning us to death. A respected authority
on digestive aliments, Sir William Lane said, "There is but one
disease and that is deficient drainage."

Nearly every man, woman and child in America is constipated, even
though the bowels may move everyday. People with chronic diarrhea
suffer from some form of constipation. Simply put the American diet
of the junk we call food can not be broken down and expelled by the
intestinal tract therefore partials remain and begin to decay and
harden.

Each year Americans spend over 400 million on laxatives, but how
long where their bowels impacted before they did something about it?
During this time fecal matter that should have been expelled was in
the body fermenting and releasing toxins throughout the body. Until
we learn to treat our bodies with respect, drink water, exercise,
include fiber in our diet, the problems that we now have with
constipation will continue.

Some of the problems that can result due to poor bowel movements: bad
breath, prostate problems, excessive belching, enlarged abdomen,
water retention, moodiness, abdominal pain, fatigue, headaches,
insomnia, nervousness, mental fog, menstrual problems, arthritis,
heart problems, endless skin problems and much more. No organ or
cell is safe from the toxins that are generated from the filthy fecal
matter that rests in the colon. It's the filth that kills us, very
few people die today of natural causes.

The main causes of constipation can be summarized as follows: poor
diet, ignoring the call to eliminate, lack of exercise and physical
activity, mental stress, external poisons (some preservatives and
additives), pollutants, some medications, inadequate consumption of
water and undigested foods.

If the colon is not cleansed those remaining particles begin to decay
and poison the body in a process called autointoxication.
Autointoxication: 'self-poisoning caused by micro-organisms within,
metabolic wastes, or other toxins in the body'. The longer your
body is exposed to the decaying food in your intestines, the greater
the risk of developing an illness or disease if the problem in
chronic or consistent enough.

Even with one bowel movement a per day, you will still have at least
three meals worth of food fermenting and decaying in your colon at
all times. This creates poisonous gases that are caused by the
stagnate particles in your intestines. These poisonous gases can
enter your blood stream, irritating your organs and cause pain in
your joints. The long held belief of some professional is that many
people have fewer bowel movements than others. But what they failed
to reveal, having fewer bowel movements creates a fertile breeding
ground for serious disease and infections because of the poisons
that remain in your body, which could eventually also cause death.

As the colon becomes impacted with dry decaying waste, it's shape
and functions are effected in numerous ways. Some areas may
'balloon-out', pouches may form on the intestine walls and become
infected, or fall down upon itself causing what is called a prolapsus
colon. All of these colon malformations greatly impair your large
intestines ability to function, which in turn places severe strain on
your digestive organs and glands. Effecting the body ability to
absorb and assimilate nutrients.

Conclusion: The colon is the body's sewer system and if not treated
properly can accumulate toxic poisons which are absorbed into the
bloodstream.

Solution: The colon should be cleansed, preferably by natural
products that are easily broken down and used by the body. It is
necessary the begin any type of supplemental treatment, whether it be
for weight loss, improving the immune system or cleaning the liver.
