As I have said, I will keep things updated for better or worse.

Cliff

A Bone Scan and Prostascint in mid to late December 2000 showed no evidence
of metastasis.

April 1, 2000 I PSA 12 .9.
May 21 The PSA was 20.2
July 7 The PSA was 22.1
Aug 21 The PSA wasw 40
Sept. 21 The PSA was 36
Oct 19 the PSA was 7.9
Dec 9 the PSA was 1.7
Feb 5 the PSA was 4.9
Mar 26 the PSA was 8. 4
May 9 The PSA was 9.1

I will review the PSAs since Dec 9 when all tests were normal. At that time
I went to 3 tablespoons of Flax Oil a day and nothing else. The PSA doubled
in about 6 weeks. I went to four tablespoons of flax oil a day and added
400 mgs of Beta Glucan a day. The PSA approximately doubled again in 6
weeks.

I increased the Flax oil to 5 tablespoons a day and increased the Beta
Glucan to around 600 mg a day and went to a total of about 7000 mgs of
vitamin C a day. The PSA on May 9 showed a rise of only .7 in
approcimately 6 weeks. My Oncologist will not consider that a significant
rise.

I am now going to maintain the 5 tablespoons of Flax Oil a day and increase
the Beta Glucan to 800 a day and the vitamin C to at least 8000 mgs a day.
I have also learned of a couple of things that will enhance the effect of
the Beta Glucan and I will get with that.

I am going to recheck my record to see what if any evidence there is that
would indicate a Gleason score.

All I know is that the doctor told me in Feb of 1991 that most cases of PCa
are slow growing and a few were very aggressive. He said mine was not the
most aggressive but was not slow growing. I would assume a Gleason score
would be around 8 but I am guessing.

I had an email the other day to the effect that cancer must be fed and a 4
day fast of nothing but water would reduce tumors by 50%. That no doubt
referred to other cancers but I may experiment with a modification of that
idea and see what happens.

I know I eat too much of the wrong stuff.

I am encouraged by the indication that I can control this enough so that at
79 and 4 months I will not die of cancer, even with a fairly aggressive
strain.
