Hi everyone,

Wanted to thank all of you for this group. I joined at the
recommendation of one of the members in a "Cancer Victors" group I
attended a few weeks ago.

I am a person who was diagnosed with "full-blown AIDS" back in 1993
and having seen so many of my friends follow the traditional medical
route (and subsequently die), I decided to pursue a naturopathic
means of treating myself. At the advice of a guy who
had "successfully" been dealing with his situation for several years
(since the late 80's) - and who is today perfectly healthy and
totally free of any indication of AIDS or HIV - I began a series of
naturopathic regimens.

And I too, now almost 8 years later am healthier than I have ever
been in my life! Thanks both to him, his suggestions, my own
studies, and my unwillingness to believe that the doctors were
working in our best interests.

The sadness is that I have lost many, many, many dear friends over
the years who were in a mind-set that "if there were a cure, don't
you think the medical profession would be promoting it?" How brain-
washed some people can be - and how much pain and suffering that same
brain-washing by the media and the medical profession has caused over
the years.

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for being here. I have told my
story time and again to Cancer Victors groups, Wellness Centers, etc.
and it is only from them that I receive strong support of my ideals.
The doctors don't seem to want to even let me in their doors anymore
(guess they are afraid I will interfere with them making their boat
payments).
