Description

What we are:
The BYU Celiac Group was created to provide a way for those with Celiac Disease, Gluten Intolerance, or Dermatitis Herpetiformis to share their experiences eating Gluten-Free while at the Y. Sudents, prospective students, employees and almuni of Brigham Young University are all welcome. We hope to provide a sense of community, so that none of us feel alone while coping with this not so rare disorder.

What we are not:
This is not meant to be a comprehensive site about Celiac Disease. Please check our links to recommended sites. Any students or faculty who have an interest in learning more about gluten sensitive enteropathies and the gluten-free diet are also welcome to use our links and ask questions.

Members may post messages, start a new thread, add photos, links, info to the databases, and download files.
Check our files for info about the new Jan.'06 labeling law and links for Gluten Intolerance Group of North America's statement about McDonald's Fries.

If you are newly diagnosed please see our files and links for help getting started. Then feel free to ask questions here. If you think you may be gluten-intolerant it is very important that you DO NOT STOP EATING GLUTEN until after you are tested.

(This is not an official BYU site)
