Well done everyone. I had my hardest day on the last day. I was
feeling a bit physically ill and this affected my emotional state too
although I did manage to keep it positive it was incredibly
challenging. So I consider it a great success and I am very glad I
took the challenge. Today I noticed that if anything negative was to
come into my mind it sort of changed focus itself, I wasn't
consciously trying to change it as much which is the point of this
exercise. By continually training the mind to 'change direction' old
neural pathways will be broken and new positive associations made.
Happiness becomes your default state. I was a pretty happy guy
beforehand so more dramatic results would be evident for someone more
inclined to have a negative outlook. I thank all of you for taking
part and posting your comments. Feel free to discuss it more here, and
for anyone still on the diet - keep going, it's well worth it.

Hey all,

I also had my last day worst day on the last day. And here's the
rub, I stayed positive, but was itching to do EFT on my negatives.
And I felt like the happiness was fake, but didn't turn it off, kept
on going. I was tired and had had a very exhausting day. By the end
of the day, I felt like collpasing in tears. Didn't, just kept on
being positive.

I found that last day unpleasant. I could conjure up positve
feelings, but they didn't last long. Wednesday morning was a relief
for me, I did EFT on all the problems, am still working through them
to some extent, but feel like I'm moving through them now.

Maybe I've learnt to do my negatives with EFT and that's my method? I
said at the beginning that I'm generally positive and reckon that's
still true. It was a big week for me, a lot on. It was actually a
lot for me to deal with in any situation. Does thinking positive on
its own make the negatives go away? I found small ones it worked
for, but I had a few big things come up, and I think I needed to use
EFT on them.

In my past, I've buried negatives under the smiling cover. I'm the
one who'll cheer up others. I never admitted to my negatives. They
slowly built up over years, until I almost popped! Maybe thinking
positive on it's own would have helped me over the years, but i
reckon we need to be careful that we're not just denying our
negatives. Sometimes the negatives need to be pulled out, dusted off,
examined and filed away in a more useful place, rather than stuffed
under the cushions before the relatives visit.

I find EFT does that in a very fast way generally, so wallowing in
the negatives doesn't happen, the feelings are just sorted out and
filed away where they won't hurt so much.

So my verdict is that I can practice being positive all the time
anyway, and if something big comes up, I'll EFT it away before it
causes me too much grief.

Thank you Mark for organising it, I'm glad I took part.

joy to you all
Hazel
