Well done everyone. I had my hardest day on the last day. I was
feeling a bit physically ill and this affected my emotional state too
although I did manage to keep it positive it was incredibly
challenging. So I consider it a great success and I am very glad I
took the challenge. Today I noticed that if anything negative was to
come into my mind it sort of changed focus itself, I wasn't
consciously trying to change it as much which is the point of this
exercise. By continually training the mind to 'change direction' old
neural pathways will be broken and new positive associations made.
Happiness becomes your default state. I was a pretty happy guy
beforehand so more dramatic results would be evident for someone more
inclined to have a negative outlook. I thank all of you for taking
part and posting your comments. Feel free to discuss it more here, and
for anyone still on the diet - keep going, it's well worth it.
