If you make you own program, be very careful how you phrase the affirmations. Focus on the benefits such as being healthier. Avoid affirmations that make the subject feel sick around smoking as this can lead to problems in social situations or with friends who smoke.
On the ethics side - unless your friend wants to quit AND has asked for your help in quitting - it is absolutely none of your business. Smoking is a legal activity and anyone of legal age is free to smoke if they want. I choose not to but many still do. We offer a product for those that want to quit but I would never expose anyone to a program that they did not know the purpose of.
