In the introduction to the list it states that it is a list of research frequencies - not necessarily brainwave entrainment frequencies.  Check the bibliography for the referencing sites.  Some have good cross referenced research, some have junk science and other relate what the author was told by the guys in the UFO that abducted him.

As for the BWGEN Preset library...sadly over 95% of what is in there is pure junk written by people with absolutelyno idea as to what they were doing.  A few are very good - very few and far between. 

Experiment with single tones and move beyond binaural beats if you can.  Try stepping down 2 hz at a time at 3 to 5 minute increments from 12 Hz to where you want to be.  See what happens.  Modify the program and try again if you aren't getting what you want.

Brainwave entrainment isn't a switch that is thrown when you put on some headphones when you want to grow a beard or get taller or do any number of other things I see asked in this forum.  BWE is a way to change your overall dominant brainwave frequency to a desried state.  Can certain physiological effects be manifested using BWE?  Sure - but research it first.  ANYONE can put up a website and proclaim anything just like anyone could put thier stuff in the library.  Work from the library and be prepared for disappointment - most of them don't work - a few will give you a bad headache.

Also - brainwave entrainment is usually below 40  to 60 Hz.
