Neurofeedback is better in the long run, I think, because it shows the user what certain states "feel" like.
Entrainment is great for fast and dirty state entry, and eventually can lead to not needing the Entrainment anymore to get the state, but I think Neurofeedback better for more complex states.

BWE is useful for being able to enter a state conducive to a certain activity; intense concentration, meditation, lucid dreaming, sleep induction or whatever....

I don't have any examples in mind. I was thinking along the lines of "complex" as in being able to get complexity by combining the more basic states into more...
