Thanks Dr. Price. About the tuning forks...Is it possible to take one
tuning fork and put it on lets say the left channel, then take the
same original recording and editing the hz by lets say 10hz and
putting it on the right channel? How exactly can I do this on cool edit?
One thing I was thinking about doing is taking lets say a tuning fork
or some tibetan bells or something similar, and stretching their time
out, while trying to keep some of the original sound. So I would have
it go for like a minute or two...then when it get close to the end I
would have another sample come in, such as a quick gong hit or a small
tribal loop...then have the same stretched out sound sample...To try
to give the brain some variations.
If its possible to alter the hz of a sample, here comes another
problem that I am thinking of. Usually with binaural recordings I
take the bb from 15hz down to lets say 8hz...then have 8hz go for like
20 minutes or what not. Is it possible to take my sound sample and
edit it accordingly...ie:
1) Can I take a tuning fork and make 2 samples, lets say one at 215hz
and one at 200hz and ramp then down to lets say 208hz and 192hz?
2) The other thing that I usually do with binaurals is to utilize the
box harmonic method, which I find a lot less annoying and harsh on the
ears. What I usually do is have it setup like this for example:
1) voice 1 = 15hz to 8hz (carrier equals 500hz for example)
2) voice 2 = -15hz to -8hz (carrier equals 480hz for example)
3) voice 3 = 15hz to 8hz (carrier equals 250 for example)
4) voice 4 = -15hz to -8hz (carrier equals 230 for example)
5) voice 5 = 15hz to 8hz (normal binaural)
When I listen to my box x bb's its more of a droning soothing sound,
except for voice 5 which I have only at like 25% volume so its barely
noticeable. Voice 3 & 4 are usually a bit louder. NOTE: I didn't
actually calculate the correct carrier hz's, as I'm just doing it as
an example.
What I'm wondering is...is it possible to do this with any kind of
sample (tibetan bells, chimes, etc.).
IE, can I take a sound sample and ramp it down from 15hz to 8hz and
also have a negative binaural.
Also, I have come across a very beneficial technique that I personally
think will make binaurals work way better. I'm willing to share my
ideas with you in exchange for some help on this stuff that I am
trying to accomplish. I'm sure you're aware that the subconscious
works better with symbols than with affirmations (in my experience at
least). I used this one technique the other day to become alcohol
free and so far for about a week I havn't drank. I've had small
desires while going to the bar that I work at, but they tend to fade
out fast. Don't worry, I'll tell you what the technique is, but I'll
wait for your response back, as to keep you hanging :)
As for the other audio mixing techniques, can you give me a heads up
on how to do these? Even a possible tutorial somewhere on the web
(please don't refer to your tutorial, as I'm flat broke right now.
I'm sure your tutorial is of great quality, much like your posts, its
just that I don't have the money. Thanks) Also I don't have money to
buy the neuroprogrammer.
