Re: Astral projection

Let me see if I can clarify the 'Astral Tourist' term.  I first heard the term from a man outside London almost 30 years ago.  We had been discussing Astral Projection, why it wasn't necessarily a good toy and so forth.  He said that many in our age tend to treat the occult in a much more frivolous manner than in times past.  When in true Astral Projection, you are in a different realm and the laws of your dimension don't apply.  Astral Projection was historically practiced with a purpose - usually communications with another specific traveler who could not be contacted any other way.  He said many were practicing AP after just reading a booklet or two as though travelogues to a new vacation spot.  Not all the residents of the other dimensions welcome such tourism into their domains and can do damage that carries back here.

Just remember as you travel here on earth - once you cross an international border...no constitution - no due process - no phone call - no lawyer before being beaten in interrogation - no US laws ... you aren't in Kansas anymore Dorothy.  Same applies to other dimensions.

Be careful out there.

As for binaural beats - the effects are transient for normal brains that are not afflicted with epilepsy, seizures or other neurological problems.  Binaural beats are hard for some to entrain to due to the 1) relative weakness of the signal or 2) trying to entrain to a rapidly changing, multi-voice piece of junk that brain can't find anything to entrain on.  You find this in binaural beats because they are ridiculously easy to make, requiring only a tone generator capable of producing 2 stable signals X number of hertz apart.  The signals don't even need to be all that stable as long as they are consistently X hertz apart.  Third is that hey are trying to jam an hour long entrainment session (30 mins of tones with prep and coming back) into less than 90 mins.  Relax, get comfortable, best at the end of the day for beginners, lights down low, set the headphone volume and take a few deep breaths.  Relax, listen and let it happen.  Don't presuppose a psychedelic experience or anything else.  A relaxation program may simply let you relax.  You may also drop off to sleep if you are as exhausted as most city folks are today.

If you have epilepsy or seizures - leave them and other entrainment technologies alone - no fun self inducing more seizures.
