Hmmm, it takes [big] money to buy abd run EEG machines-- I've
had four done, all paid by my health insurance-- so there is
very little, if any EEG srudies concerning entrainment. I don't
even think that the companies that make alpha and theta CDs
bother to find out qualitatively that their products actually
do anything; they probably don't want to know so that way they
can't be accused of knowlingly selling products that don't do
what they are claimed to do.
Neurologists sure don't care about brainwave entrainment, so
they won't invest any time in seeing what works and what
doesn't. So who else has a $15,000 EEG on up machine? Then
the question becomes how reliable are "cheapie" biofeedback units
like WaveRider, and how many people are dedicated enough to buy a
$1000 (minimun) biofeedback unit? I have one, but then I have a
vested interest in controlling my brainwaves. There is almost no
information on ESP/psi and brainwave activity; just one lonely study
but interested folks should be happy that even that one study
exists as there is no other 4-1-1 anyware else on that subject.
