Hypnosis can have an effect on just about anyone, regardless of
whether or not they are afflicted with a mental disease. It may NOT
be able to help a person who is bipolar or schizophrenic with those
problems since they often have physiological root causes that are
beyond the scope of hypnosis and the behavioral changes usually sought.

Check with the doctor in charge of the individual case to determine
whether or not hypnosis is indicated.
