Heya everyone!

Since this is an EB group (and we've had complaints about the lack of
EB related stuff here in the past) I think I'll start with skin
related stuff.

I bought a new pair of boots. Formal wear, for formal occasions such
as job interviews. They're incredibly soft leather. Not even slightly
painful. But I wore them with the wrong socks. The socks bunched up
under my toes and developed one blister (on that I know of... maybe
more) undernath one toe. The skin on the soles of my feet is so tough
and so think that I can't even peirce it with a needle. That's why I
don't even know how many blisters there are. I may have to leave it
till it heals itself.

That's where athletes foot and EB combine. I had the same problem with
my heel and have a permanent hole in my heel as a result. I suffer
from athlete's foot permanently. I've treated it but it only subdues,
doesn't leave. It doesn't bother me save for once when I has such an
incredible infection it would be inhuman to describe it. It made me
scream with the itching though. But when I burst a blister under
thickened skin, the athlete's foot takes hold and peels forever.
Doesn't hurt, though, so it doesn't affect my ability to live with it.

In other news, I'm looking for work. I qualified as a web designer,
and have three freelance projects at work right now, in the regio of
1200 euro income. But I need permanent employment all the same - if my
freelance work continues then I only need part time - I'm hoping by
word of mouth and contacts that I can get more jobs my way - but if
not, I will need full time employment. I'm sort of dreading this.

Also, I've moved house. I always lived with freinds before, but some
things happened and I was forced to move. I live now with a couple and
a single guy. I like them all but I have had a hard time settling in.

I have a boyfriend, his name is Ciaran. We've been together almost
seven months. He's my strength lately. He's 22 and also a web designer
though he's employed in advertising. He's a sweetie.

That's me for now. How's everyone else?
Let's not let this group die! Revival!!

Dee
