[Butterfly Children] Re: tv programme

Hi freddie Just thought I'd share this article with you that
appeared in the daily mirror.

£170K IN MEMORY OF JONNY Mar 29 2004

By Stephen White

VIEWERS donated £100,000 in 12 hours after watching a TV show about
a man whose skin fell off.

In total, £170,000 was raised for charity Debra which terminally ill
Jonny Kennedy had devoted his life to.

His brother Simon, 39, said: "This is a phenomenal amount of money.
My only regret is that Jonny wasn't here to see it because raising
this cash was his ambition in life."

Jonny, 36, from Alnwick, Northumberland, died from skin condition
epidermolysis bullosa last September.

More than 4.6million viewers watched his life story - The Boy Whose
Skin Fell Off - on Channel 4 on Thursday.

Debra will use the cash to fund research into the condition.

Model Nell McAndrew, who befriended Jonny, is running next month's
London marathon to raise money for Debra.

She said: "He was an incredible man, with more courage, spirit and
sense of adventure than anyone I know."

He'll be sitting up there clapping his hands don't you think.
Best wishes Rachelle xxx
