My name is Dale and I founded this group. I just celebrated 2 years
since my diagnosis and am doing fine.
I think it's very important that you attend as many of your mom's
doctor's appointments as possible. I know that my wife (girlfriend
at the time)went to all of my appointments and took notes - she asked
questions that I hadn't thought of because so much was racing through
my mind. No question is too small - make sure you feel comfortable
with what the doctors are telling you.
I wish your mom the best - feel free to email me anytime. I'd be
happy to answer any questions you have or act as a sounding board.
