I am a 31 year old male who was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor (Grade III Anaplastic Astrocytoma) in March 2006. I had a craniotomy with a gross total resection, and just finished radiation and chemotherapy. I will begin my next round of chemotherapy shortly. I do not know my ultimate prognosis - my doctors say that it varies too much from person to person. Not knowing this is probably the most difficult thing about the "recovery" process. I had not heard much about brain tumors before being diagnosed with one. I would like to raise people's awareness. One way I wanted to do this was to recommend a Virginia Speciality License Plate for Brain Tumor Awareness
Education, Awareness, Support, and Activism for Brain Tumor Survivors, Caregivers, their Families, and anyone else interested in this topic. All are welcome.
Currently starting a Grass Roots Campaign to create a Brain Tumor Awareness Speciality License Plate in Virginia.
