Welcome to the Child and Adolescent Bipolar Foundation (CABF) support group. Our website is found at www.bpkids.org.

These are the group rules. There is zero tolerance for flaming which is attacking members for their opinions, etc. No vulgar language is allowed. In an effort to maintain the nurturing environment of this group, discussions on race, sexual preference, religion and political views are not allowed. Individuals engaged in research must disclose this when seeking membership and obtain written permission from CABF. CABF reserves the right to deny membership to anyone who has a history of flaming. Once you have subscribed and begin receiving mail, please send an introductory post about you and your child(ren). Please create a signature line at the end of your post that includes: your name, your child's name, age, diagnosis and medications, your child's type and place of education and home state. Please use the proper subject heading for your post in the subject line to help people prioritize what they read. When responding to a post, please delete all information possible and leave only the details relevant to your response. When having a specific discussion with one person, especially when unrelated to bipolar disorder, please email that person directly rather than to the group. Although CABF, team leader, and moderators will monitor the groups, feel free to contact the moderator anytime with any concerns so she can attempt to resolve any issues. By subscribing to this support group, the member agrees to respect the privacy of other members and their postings. CABF has the right to use all postings to benefit its mission; if used, all identifying information will be omitted.
