BPD411 is a list for family members and others in relationships with someone who has traits of borderline personality disorder - BPD.

It is not for those who have the disorder.

This list is for those who are trying to sort themselves out in the chaos and trauma that often exist when one cares about a borderline.

This list is to help those, whom we call Non's, to recongize the trauma they've experienced, and begin to find the road to healing and recovery.

If you want to understand how the disorder impacts YOU, and what you can do to survive living with it, this group provides mutual support for doing just that.

Because the trauma is so devastating, and few of those with the disorder ever make any progress at healing and becoming non abusive, many members eventually decide to break off the relationship.

This is NOT not required to be a member of this group.

The highest priority on this list is maintaining the safety of everyone on the list. This is the only NonBP list that is fully moderated, meaning that each post must be approved by one of the moderators. This is to maximize the level of safety on the list, and to avoid SPAM entirely.
