Don't look for a person to make you happy until you are happy with
yourself. Otherwise, you'll just find someone who wants to control you
or is unhappy too.

The poetry was great. Try submitting it to some of the online
publishing places. There are many. Or submit them to magazines, or
create your own blog and put them there. You can copywrite them but it
is doubtful that if someone did snag it you'd ever know anyway.
