Does this 3yo ASD/non-verbal client have other SI needs elsewhere? Seems like there might be a possible regulating issue going on. If he is craving proprioceptive intraorally, chances are he is craving it elsewhere, or even throughout his body. Does this client receive OT?

Subject: [bomri] chewing habit
Ideas needed for a 3 year old boy who is in autistic spectrum and not
verbal.Has need for deep proprioception in his mouth and chevw tubes
and biting sticks are seems like decreasing for a while but not
helping to eliminate. We did a series of massage, vibrating tooth brush
around the gum line ,pressing on molars, frosen carrot sticks and
toothies but not successfull yet.
I appriciate for ideas.
