What do the numbers mean???.......Well........ Basically, she's shrinking in overall size from neck to thigh. Her body weight is up by 2.4 LBS, but since her body fat has dropped 4.5% this tells us that the 2.4LBS of weight gain is nothing more than lean sexy muscle! ROCK ON DENISE....Wit- cho' fine self!
Carina weighed in and......
on 6/4 on 7/1
Neck 12.75" 12.5"
Right Arm 11.5" 11.25"
Waistline 33.0" 32.25"
Right Thigh 24.0" 23.0"
Total Body Weight 129.0 LBS 130.0 LBS
Body Fat % 34.0% 29.4%
What do the numbers mean??....... Carina is shrinking as well.....although her number differences may not be as big as Denise's, Corina mentioned to me this morning that she had not taken any of the supplements I suggested.....sooooo...... this means all of the progress shown by the numbers above is from nothing more that discipline and hard work! YOU GO GIRL!.....
For those of who are still working on the "New You"......keep on doin' your thing! The results will come if you keep working hard and watching your eating habits. Everyone's body is completely different from the next, so don't compare yourself to others.....just be the best "you" that you possibly can....
MANY THANKS to you for offering your AWESOME service!!! You're a God send!!
BTW. Denise is just as stoked as I am and wishes she could be in my class...
"IT'S WHAT WE DO". Thank you for being you.

For those of you who like sweets...try Skinny Cow ice cream
sandwiches. You can get them at Korgers. There 1.5 grams of fat and
140 calories...NOT BAD! And they taste really good!
Ok gang...... for those of you who have actually committed to being lean
in 14......STAY MOTIVATED!!! There's only 4 days left for most of you!.
Let's get those journals updated....keep eating the right foods...and
keep communicating with each other. We got off to a really great start,
and it seems as thought some are not "in the game" anymore!.... I want
to hear from you.... are you still seeing results? Have you gotten
discouraged?
Thanks Monica! I heard your doing great on your diet! Congrats!!

OH NO!! THE WEEKEND IS HERE YIKES!! Temptation all over! This is the
first weekend of diet, let's see if I can resist. I am supposed to
play poker tomorrow at a friend's house and I already told her that I
cannot eat or drink the junk she is going to be serving at the game.
Other than that, I already lost 2.5 pounds!

Sooooo..... Tell me.... How's your diet going? It's been 2 full days an most of you have started the diet 100% and some need to go shopping. For those who have taken the bull by the horns, how do you feel? Have you lost any weight? Do you like the cooking?
I couldn't help myself..... Last night I weighed myself and I was at 203LBS down from 205LBS. I knew it wasn't a totally accurate weight since I originally weighed in the mornings........ sooo....I did it again this morning and the scale read 201.6LBS! OMG! I couldn't believe my eyes so I did it again..... 201.7LBS! Wow.... That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!
I love the cooking......Whenever I cooked before (typically grilling on the weekends) It was the same old thing. But now I''m cooking totally different stuff that take time, preparation...and a lil' bit of love . Ok.... call me cheesy... I don't care!
Needless to say, I feel great! I'm full of energy, and i feel so "light" LOL! ......... Yeah Baby!.... The sexy is on it's way back to Antwanland!
I'm thinkin' I'm not too smart with this stuff. When you say 6oz...
is that before or after cooking it? Anyone have any good Chicken
recipes? I don't eat fish :(

I HAVE to HAVE coffee in the morning...I'm sure it's part mental and
part caffeine but it wakes me up! So I went to the store this morning
in search of something with a jolt that was carb free and I found
individual packets of Crystal Light called Energy on the Go. Not only
are you getting water but a good swift kick in the butt to wake you
up. Yipee!
LOL!..... Okay Tracy....now for step 1....Throw away that f!@%ing bacon! Chicken scramble is where it's at!

Of course! Like I said before.... the meals are simply guidelines and suggestions for what you need to put in your body at particular times. We had the chicken scramble this morning.....mmmm...mmmm

Okay...... I've started my journal! You can find it by clicking the

I'm really excited for you Shy! That's exactly the energy and motivation you need to get through the next 2 weeks. I'm glad your experience with the Boot Camp has been a good one.... (some people beg to differ ) I'll see you later this afternoon!

Hey there everyone!
As you know, the Lean In 14 program has begun. For those of you who
are "actively" participating I wish you all the best of luck with your
progress. But we all know that it's gonna take a little more than luck
to get our bodies bikini ready ;-). That's why I made you all join this
group.... FOR SUPPORT!
Since I'm participating in the program, I've decided to make my
journal public for all of you to see that you're not alone in your
struggles. I will post my picture(s) later this morning and I'll tell
you about my first meal and supplement taking. Remember ... I'll will
check your journals every Thursday.... So bring them to class! The
pictures that you took and all of your stats will be held confidential
unless you would like to post them online as well.
Remember... We're all in this together, so if you have a question,
suggestion, comment, or grief, please share on this forum. Once again,
the best of luck to you all!
It's What We Do!
Here we go.... I've searched high and low for a "quality supplement to
offer my clients to help with results and make it a more painless road
to success. Turns out....Advocare is it! I've included a link to my
website which list combinations of supplements for faster weight loss,
more definition & tone, and faster recovery (less soreness)
No one wants to be "stuck" on pills and diet aids for the rest of their
lives, but sometimes we need that boost to get our systems into gear. I
suggest taking "diet" and "work-out" supplements in "blocks"
or "cycles." This way you're body doesn't adjust to them and your not
always shoveling pills and shakes down your throat. Anyhow...enough of
my rambling.....click on the link below.....
http://bodystyles.org/NutritionAndSupplements.html
Just going through the Boot Camp classes as a student is rough on the
body and surely takes the wind out of you. As an instructor, I don't
participate for the entire workout for this exact reason.....it's hard
enough keeping up the energy and wind just to yell at everyone :-)
Anyhow, I started using Advocare Spark energy drinks & Catalyst and all
I have to say is WoW! I've started participating in ALL 4 of my classes
throughout the day and I still have energy. Of course I still get
winded from the exercise and yelling, but it's nowhere near as bad as
it used to be!
...So.....to make a long story short..... Spark and Catalyst work great
together! If you want to step it up a notch at Boot Camp....they're the
way to go!
http://bodystyles.org/HealthAndWellness.html
Question...... Do you know WHY you stopped your last exercise routine or diet?
How long did you do it?
Did you see ANY results?
Did you reach your goals?
Most people fall short because of lack of support from their peers. That's why lots of people prefer to have a "work-out buddy." It's always good to have a moral support system to cheer you on and hold you accountable for missing a workout or cheating on a diet.
......so....we all want to hear from you! Tell us all about your previous workout regimen or diet before signing up for boot camp! Let's see how many of us have the same story! LOL!
"OPEN HOUSE"
B.Y.O.B....
Bring Your Own Buddy to Boot Camp Day
Wednesday,May 14th
Invite your spouses, cousins, friends, and coworkers... they're all
welcome!
The following classes will be open to the public:
5am-5:50am
4:30pm-5:20pm
6:30pm-7:20pm
So invite your friends so they can see for themselves "What We Do!"
B-12 Facts.....
Vitamin B12 is needed for manufacture of red blood cells (along with
folic acid). B12 helps the body's use of iron and is also required
for proper digestion, the absorption of foods, the synthesis of
protein and the metabolism of carbohydrates and fats. No wonder it's
important for good energy levels! It is often observed that taking
B12 (especially via injections) reduces fatigue, even when a
deficiency isn't found.
B12 deficiencies are common due to declining B12 levels in food,
increased use of antibiotics and digestive problems. This is because
B12 is produced in the digestive tract as well as being absorbed from
food. Those most at risk of a B12 deficiency are vegetarians and
people with digestive disturbances.
Symptoms of deficiency: fatigue, weakness, dizziness, sore tongue,
memory problems, confusion, irritability, depression, moodiness,
paleness.
Testing for deficiency: B12 levels can be measured with a blood test
What is the health risk of too much vitamin B12?
The Institute of Medicine of the National Academies did not establish
a UL for this vitamin because vitamin B12 has a very low potential
for toxicity. The IOM states that "no adverse effects have been
associated with excess vitamin B12 intake from food and supplements
in healthy individuals" [7]. In fact, the IOM recommends that adults
older than 50 years get most of their vitamin B12 from vitamin
supplements or fortified food because of the high incidence of
impaired absorption in this age group of vitamin B12 from foods that
come from animals [7].
When you psych yourself up to come to class keep in mind that when you initially
signed up.....you were thinking......."I really need someone to push me and make
me work hard"
Well......I can yell and scream at you if thats what you want, but the only one
who can push you to your limits is......YOU! When you start your next workout,
keep all of your fitness goals in mind and keep pushing yourself mentally to do
more reps and longer distances. Dont quit at the first sign of pain.....keep
going! Ive never known exersise to feel good while I was doing it.....But the
end result is a tight, lean, healthy body that moves like a cheetah!
You guys are doing great! Hang in there and let nothing and no one get in the
way of acheiving your goals.....especially yourself.
It's what we do!
Hey everyone......it's your favorite pain in the
butt.....thighs...arms....abs.... ;-)
Just wanted to drop a note about hydration.
It's beginning to get very hot and humid which means your body is
going to require more water and electrolytes to perform at boot camp
and you other activities. It's simple... DRINK MORE H2O!!!!! Make sure
you hydrate a couple of hours BEFORE you engage in your workouts and
you'll be fine......Stay fit.... stay sexy.....and if anyone
ask...just tell em'... "It's what we do!"
