Ramblings: Ok not really tracking food a danger zone for me for sure
could lose all I've worked for the last 40 days.
I lost my diamond wedding ring last night freaked out I remembered taking
it off as I was going boxing in the morning. Well I finally found it
near the bed so I think it might of slipped off it is getting a bit
loose. Hate to size because it is much tighter in the winter not sure
why.
I am trying to cut out High Fructose Corn syrup and go all organic
finding it hard and challenging. Kids doing ok with the changes
thankfully.
Final note is I am essentially a widow now hubby's company lost the
lawsuit appeal so I haven't seen him much since probably be like this all
summer.
So let's see if I can remember what I ate today LOL!
1. Michele's version of the egg mcmuffin mine is better you see
2. eziekiel small tortia, turkey, roasted red peppers, 2% provolone
3. Grilled cheese and tomato panini, salad, mushrooms, 1 tbsp dressing
4. celery stalk with peanut butter
5. grilled turkey burger on 1/2 pita bread with roasted red pepper and
crock pot potato soup
6. glass wine

I use just 1/2 of an eziekiel english muffin, 1 egg with 3 egg whites so
more protein, 2% cheese so a bit less fat, and a slice of canadian bacon.
About the same calories probaby as a McD's egg mcmuffin but I get fuller
with the more protein and higher fiber english muffin.
Michele
Boy that sounds good, I wish you could over to my house and cook

You know the whole group is archived and searchable right? :-)
Here's the recent thread: http://health. groups.yahoo. com/group/ bodyforlifewomen sclub2/message/ 222157
You can also search for cardio songs, workout music, playlists etc, and find
years of favorites. Just go to the home page and type your query into the
search box under the bicep: http://health. groups.yahoo. com/group/ bodyforlifewomen sclub2/

Well obviously I crashed, burned and almost caught fire on my last Body
For Life challenge <smile>. But as this "diet" thing is a lifestyle for
me I always get back up fighting. So I am on my next challenge this one
is an extention of Body For Life called Transformation also by Bill
Phillips. It is an 18 week mind, body, and soul transformation. Oh and
I signed up for his text message each day I'm liking that!
As for my personal life lots going on my Uncle Jerry broke his hip (he is
a proclaimed Gimp now he says). My Uncle Randy had open heart surgery
today things seem to be good there so far at least. And my 6 year old
had a meltdown in a Kansas City restraunt on Saturday because he wanted
to eat ketchup (which by the way I let him eat) but this was because I
was so happy that all the sauces were homemade and did not have high
fructose corn syrup in it. Well he is convinced he doesn't like the
ketchup if it doesn't have it in it. Jeez try to reason with a 6 year
old. So I let Grandma handle it LOL! I got to see my parents in Iowa
and endure lots of humidity and lots of heat. A good trip.
My goal is to have a fruit or vegetable every meal and fell short on 2
meals.
So here is what I ate today June 30:
1. banana
2. chicken quesadilla with peppers
3. turkey wrap with tomatoes, sprouts, fruit, 1 slice of Ryan's pita
pizza
4. meatloaf with potato
5. 1 oz taco chips, salsa, Egg panini sandwich
Silly question but it's been on my mind for awhile... How do you
measure a tbsp of things that aren't liquid or powder form such as
raisens or pumpkin seeds? I always assumed that tbsp was a level tbsp.
The gap between enthusiasm and indifference is filled with
failures.
Ramblings: So far so good on challenge but of course it is only
2nd day
<smile>! Getting ready for the 4th and upcoming mission trip for
daugher.
What I ate Wed July 1:
1. V8 juice, 3 egg whites, 3/4 cup wheat chex, 1/2 cup 1% milk
2. 4 oz chicken, 1 tbsp teryaky sauce, 1 tbsp dressing, pickles,
lettuce, celery, cauliflower
3. 1 cup chili, 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds, 1/8 cup 2% cheese, oyster
crackers
4. salad, 2 rolls, 1 tbsp butter, pulled pork with BBQ sauce
5. 1 glass red wine
Total calories 1,648
Exercise: upper body strength workout

I do measure it in a tbsp and make it level. You don't get too many LOL!
You could use a scale and measure in grams would be a more accurate
measuring tool but sometimes I'm lazy.

I am only one, but I am one. I cannot do everything, but I can do
something; and what I can do, that I ought to do; and what I ought to do,
by the grace of God I shall do. Edward Everett Hale
