I have a very good friend that just fought breast cancer and won so
when I saw your post, I clicked it as well to add my count. Will do
it often because if it ever happened to me, I would want others to
help me.
On another note, it was our first time going to the chinese gym. We
went at 9:00 and finished by ten. There wasn't anyone there for the
first half of our time. Then a chinese man came in showing off his
muscles and decided that we needed help. He began telling my husband
about all of these things we could do. He whipped out the Body For
Life Book, showed him the picture of Bill Phillips and explained the
program to him. The man walked off. I think I will keep it with me
from now on. It seems everyone has their ideas but right now we just
need to follow the book. We enjoyed using the machines. I felt that
my upper body got a good workout. You really have to chart every
machine since the weights are not all standard. They allow weights
to say they are 10 pounds when they are really only 5. Oh Well,
let's hope that the time will work out for us. We took our son there
the night before and he saw these men working out. He said, "Why do
they not really have any muscles?" They look like POWs with a small
hump. I used it as a good lesson for him and told him it is because
they don't feed their muscles protein. The chinese diet has very
little meat. I think that if my 15 year old son can get this down in
his head, he will be one less adult to add to the overweight
statistic. (I am not sure if my grammar was correct on that:)
My Meals today:
M1 7:00 oatmeal and cappucino
M2 10:15 chicken breast in tortilla with salsa
M3 12:30 chicken breast, sweet potatoe and green beans
M4 3:00 Protein pancakes
M5 5:00 chicken breast, salad

Help me if I do not have this eating down yet!
Thanks to all,
Nancy
