That's been a subject of great debate on the board through the years. There
seems to be science to support eating something in the a.m. before going to
the gym and going on an empty stomach.
What has worked best for me through the years is to wake up and eat
something light. Just enough to get my body working, then going to work
out.
I have not had success working out in the afternoon for many reasons. The
biggest being after a hard day, I just want to go home. From a mental
standpoint, I like to start my day with a win.
