Garielle,

Just a reminder than exercise in general has an insulin like effect
on the body. Were you diagnosed with type II? If type I make sure
you keep something sugary with you when you work out just in case.
Maybe even bring your meter with you and do a check at the gym. (you
do have a glucose meter?)
