Paul,
I have finished 2 challenges with great results. You can see my
pictures on the website. You don't need a whole lot of supplements to
start out with. I chose to use a lot the first time and I used the
second time. I am still improving and the only supplements I use are
the bars and shakes occasionally.
You really only need a multivitamin and some shake and bars on hand for
when you are not planned out for a day of food. You will just have to
be more diligent in your preparation for nutrition. Why don't you take
the money you usually use to eat out on and put it in a savings and use
that for supplements? Just a thought.
Hope this helps. Focus on your work out and nutrition and you can worry
about supplements later. The competition only requires that you use one
of the EAS supplements.

Subject: [Body-for-LIFE Atlanta Yahoo! Group] Probably a regular
question, but I'm new to the group...
I know that every new member probably asks this question: what do you
do if you can't afford the "prescribed" supplements in the BFL
challenge? I'd like to know about substitutions, etc., that some of
you use, as well as any good sources for supplements (discount
prices).
I live in Birmingham, AL, and would be interested in anyone in this
area contacting me, whether you are doing the program or just thinking
about it like I am... I want to do if IF I can afford it... I'm
working out, etc., now, but have not done BFL.
Thanks,
Paul
