The Oxford Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine is running a One-Day Workshop on Evidence-Based Practice on Friday 27th June 2008.

This workshop is intended to service as an introduction to evidence-based practice and is aimed at clinicians and other health care professions (including those involved in the area of mental health) who wish to gain knowledge of critical apprisal and experience in the practice of evidence-based health care.

After the workshop, participants should be able to:

1. formulate an answerable question

2. track down the best evidence

3. do rapid critical appraisal of controlled trials

4. apply the evidence to individuals' care

5. evaluate the effectiveness and efficience of your educational process.
