Dear Colleagues,

The Centre for Evidence-Based Medicine and CASP International are holding the following two events in September 2008 in Oxford, UK and are offering a number of bursary places.

14th Oxford Workshop on Teaching Evidence-Based Practice.  

This workshop is aimed at health care professionals who already have some knowledge of critical appraisal and experience in the practice of evidence-based health care and who want to explore issues around teaching evidence-based Medicine.  The workshop is not intended to serve as an introduction to evidence-based medicine.

CASP International Network Training Week.

By the end of the this course, participants will feel confident about finding and critically appraising research evidence and teaching critical appraisal skills to others.

Application forms can be downloaded at www.cebm.net or applicants can apply on line at the same address.

All bursary applications should be accompanied by a letter detailing your current involvement with EBM and outlining what would be done with the knowledge gained on the course, plus a CV.

All bursary applications will be considered at the end of March.
