The British Computer Society offers bursaries to support people
working in Telehealth and Telecare. . These support attendance and
expenses to attend the HC2008 conference in Harrogate next April
21-23.2008). I wonder if you would publicise the HC2008 Bursary
programme to colleagues?

The scheme is aimed at NHS and Social care staff with an interest in
developing Telecare and Telehealth services.. Some previous
candidates are doing or have done MScs or postgraduate work in
these areas, and others are from front-line and management areas.
The bursaries cover all UK travel, conference fees, and 3 nights'
accommodation in a specified local hotel.
Candidates are required to submit a brief essay (not more that 2000
words) on the following topic:
"Integrated health & Social Care in 2012 – Can it work ?"
Successful candidates will be able to display a poster (on a subject
of their choice) at HC2008.
The closing date for submission of the essays is 21st January 2008.
