You may have noticed that you have not received the autumn edition of the
Society Newsletter, UH Health Informatics Today

After some debate and reflection, The Executive Committee has decided to
dispense with the hard copy and to publish UKHIT as an E-newsletter,
starting with the current issue. As soon as the latest issue is available,
you will be sent an email alert.

Dr Howard Leicester is the guest editor for this issue which addresses
problems of `print impairment' in health and social care
We are indebted to Howard for all the hard work he has done.

As you will see, we have modified the layout of this issue so as to
comply with the various recommendations and good practice guidelines
summarised by Howard and his contributors. I am sure he would welcome
feedback and discussion from readers.
