BCS PHCSG AGM - Last few places

The theme of this years Annual Conference is "Global Health Records -
Putting the Patient at the Heart of Care" this will be my last as AGM Chair
of the Group, and I'm hoping it will be 'one to remember'!

At the conference we will be looking and a number of initiatives that are
giving patients a greater part in the construction and control of their
health records and will be considering, in depth, some of the technical and
ethical challenges that will need to be met if we are to create health
records that meet the needs of both patients and the professionals they
choose as partners in their care.

The event promises to be extremely stimulating and delegate booking are
already well ahead of last year, so if you want to attend and particular if
you want to secure overnight accommodation you need to book without delay.

As well as being my last conference as Chair we will also be saying goodbye
to Sheila Teasdale at this event. Sheila has been the Groups Journal Editor
for a number of years and leaves us to take up a post at the American
Medical Association soon after our Conference.
