Job Title: Implementation Consultant
- My name is Christopher Clarke and I am currently recruiting for a large software house company in the south of England by looking for project managers and implementation consultants for implementing health information systems within the NHS. I wondered if you would have any leads to people who might also be interested in considering a role in this field?
Permanent role
Contact: chris@...
Tel: 01392 275111
Location: South and London
Travel required
Salary: £30 60,000 basic + package.
Closing date: Indefinite.
Brief Description:
You'll be someone who just 'knows' healthcare and can really see how linking patient data on a vast, national database will provide immeasurable benefits to the NHS and patient experiences. In the past, you'll have shown a genuine dedication to improving the way people work, and the way that patients are cared for. If you have any prior experience with a healthcare software provider, that would be ideal.
Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll work with the NHS to determine departmental and patient workflows. You'll then transfer the business process workflow into an application workflow online, and be the key client contact through the implementation process. Tailoring the design; building the application and assessing training needs.
People with a business background can join within Care Management, where you'll be responsible for PAS. You'll need experience of registration or scheduling in a healthcare organisation, or working on a PAS application. Implementation experience is essential.
Candidates of particular interest can combine their experience of Health Informatics with a background in any of the following areas:
Pharmacy, Dental Practice, Mental Health, Child Health, Care of the Elderly, Theatres, Intensive Care, Primary Care / General Practice, Prevention Screening, Maternity, A&E.
