Dear friends,

 

Some time has passed since we organized a conference event (though we have co-sponsored some very useful ones) and maybe it is time to have another.

 

It seems that the obvious topic to address would be health informatics aspects of the National Programme  for IT. A date in early autumn would give sufficient time to organise a high quality programme. UKHiS ought to be able to provide an independent,

informed venue for discussing issues relating to this immensely important initiative.
