National Health Information Summit

The National Health Information Summit will be held at the Sofitel
Melbourne on 6-7 December 2004.  The Summit will explore key themes and
priorities for information management and information and communications
technology (IM&ICT) in Australia's health sector and will explore
governance and resource frameworks for the future.  The Summit will be
held on 6-7 December 2004 and will feature Australian and international
health leaders. Speakers and participants will include experts from the
public, private and community sectors, as well as health care providers,
consumers, and information users such as researchers and policy makers.
The Summit is an initiative of the Australian Health Information Council
and the National Health Information Group, in collaboration with the
Australian Council for Safety and Quality in Health Care.
