Century Healthcare: the Role of Health Informatics, Professor Denis
Protti
This event is being sponsored by the Centre for Health Informatics
& Multiprofessional Education (CHIME), together with together with
the City University (Centre for Measurement and Information in Medicine)
and the UK Health Informatics Society (UKHiS).
Professor Denis Protti from the School of Health Information Science in
the University of Victoria (Canada) will be presenting his ideas on the
way in which health informatics can contribute to 21st century
healthcare. Denis was one of the original external reviewers of
Information for Health and went on to undertake an
assessment of the process of implementation of Information for
Health. He advised the NHS Executive on an appropriate way of
evaluating the implementation of the strategy. The Protti Report is
