Clinical Informatics - Nat Occupational Standards   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #461 of 853 |
Hi all,

I've been invited to participate in a series of working groups to
develop National Occupational Standards for Clinical Informatics for
the NHS as part of the Agenda for Change, Knowlegde & Skills
framework.

They are being run by "Skills for Health"
http://www.skillsforhealth.org.uk & I've been invited in a personal
capacity rather than as a respresentative of any group & I'm not
sure whether I'm there as a nurse, academic or what.

Is anyone else involved?

Whether you are or not I would be interested in your definitions of
what "Clinical Informatics" is and what you think are the key
knowledge and skills needed by clinical staff?

If anyone has ideas on how levels of these standards might be
identified, described or tested that would be great.
