Dear colleagues,

I'm writing a very short piece on the current trends and issues within the
UK healthcare system and wondered whether anybody could help.

My main focus will be on knowledge management and IT in the first instance
but want to expand this for healthcare as a whole. For example; more money
now available for ICT, the aging population, increasing expenditure, trend
towards more nurses, the identified need to monitor and improve care in
nursing homes, etc.

I would be most grateful if anybody could email to me or point me in the
direction of any relevant documentation. Alternatively, if you could email
me a paragraph or two highlighting the points you think are most important
I'd be doubly grateful.

I really would appreciate any help you could offer.
